  1. IMO Zadina, 2nd rounder this year and 2nd rounder next year should seal it; however, Ottowa might demand Boston's 1st next year. I'd do it. Wings need a legit scoring line

  2. If it was debrincat for zadina and the wings 1st, I'd still be disappointed be it's not the absolute worst that others have protected

  3. I was just talking about this before Frank proposed it. Honestly, I think it's a fair trade that detroit obviously would win on. However, in full fairness, you either trade him now for something or lose him for nothing, and detroit has the assets there to give you at least a decent deal for him

  4. As a sens fan and initial reactions here goes it. Firstly… Think back to the debrincat trade to acquire him, sure there was some hesitation, but primarily the comments were Ottawa fleased Chicago. Now clearly not the case, but also what seems to be lost is Ottawa likely just paid a FAIR price for the piece in debrincat they did get. But let's say you ignore that or not… Ottawa for once now in recent years is up to the cap! Or should be with contacts coming on. Trading for Zadina with that cap hit for 2 years hopefully supporting him, granted to a 15-25 goal player over 82 possibly, tho I can't say I know how he's been supported in Detroit so maybe I'm out to lunch but regardless a 6th overall draft at one time 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️. I think for the 2 years locked at 1.8 or whatever is huge for Ottawa and we can make him out problem to support as we're on the up. All this to say too is I unfortunately have high confidence in debrincat bouncing back and making Ott look foolish but for Zadina and a first 🤔, or 2 seconds? Or even if we settle as you alluded to a 2nd and 3rd, I could see benefiting the sens, tho with the poor performance from Zadina I'd hope for him and a first or 2 seconds… But debrincat doesn't fit Ottawas budget as is and unfortunately I think even signing him long term or even shorter term at even if we got him at 8 would be a mistake, so I like this trade for Ott. Curious to get responses to this on ppls thoughts to my thoughts.

  5. If Dorion makes that trade, Andlauer had better load him into a cannon and fire him into the Rideau River.

  6. ZADINA? zadina?
They would want at least Kasper or Berggren.
A package of defenders may be of interest to OTT, but they may be set there also.

  7. Stevie will trade 2 second rounders + zadina to bring Debrincat home! Best GM
