  1. I would definitely trade for Max Domi.We already know he has chemistry with Mitch Marner. No room.Move Nylander and Kerfoot/Johnsson out for space.

  2. There’s no room for Domi as a center. Would you prefer Danault leave?

As for Allen, 15 million on trendies is too much, but they can’t bring up Primeau yet, even though he’s ready. Lindgren did great, but he’s an AHL player, who will probably be Primeau’s backup now.

  3. ill say Drouin for Sergachev may be a loss.. but Ill take Weber of PK all day.. MB makes good trades.. these guys spend too much time in leaf land where the roses are red, even though a play in round was too much for 40 million on 4 players.

  4. Well the habs tried to get some ufa players last year with their cap space (aka Duchene). It's fine to pay the cap space but in a situation that you are not really a cup contender you must avoid long bad contract (aka Karl Alzner). Otherwise you could stay a bottom team for a while.

  5. Typical Toronto coverage. First off, Jake Allen is to give a solid back up to Price while Primeau get valuable experience in AHL. Allen has just a year left in his contract. Then you mention about the trades of Subban/Weber and Galchenyuk/Domi. Subban has not done anything as of late, and Weber is still a solid player plus an excellent leader in Canadiens dressing room. Galchenyuk has since been to 3 teams while Domi is an asset although may want out of Montreal, he is valuable and will bring good value back. The only reason Montreal will probably shop him is because of the resurgence of Suzuki and Kotkaniemi. Crazy Danault could be the 3rd center next year. And lastly it’s funny you mention about Canadiens early exit in the playoffs. Maple Leafs can’t win post season albeit the talent. This year the Habs were fun to watch in the post season.

  6. it's the perfect time for bergevin to go berserk again with offer sheets. target small markets, front load contracts like he did with sebastian aho and hope they break under the financial pressure created by the loss of revenue this season. it's about the only tool left that rich clubs can use to get an edge in this boring parity league.

  7. Leafs can't spend money on any more forwards. They need D. Domi doesn't fit in Toronto

  8. Domi fits well with Columbus. He's got some bite to his game, which is how Columbus plays. He'd bring some offense too, which they need.

  9. You guys realize there are teams in the USA? They arent all Canadian-not even most. Otherwise, you Canadians would have the Cup, in the last 25yrs-just kidding.

  10. Im disapointed in this conversation, it seems not enough research, or just game watching went on…

  11. Actually defensively the CH did ok against philly. They need a better third pair. Mete and Ouellet are not good enough. They traded Nate Thomson to Philly at the deadline because they didn't think they would make the Playoff. They had no fourth line!! You can not win in the series With a line with Domi, Weal, Evans, Belzile or Hudon. Domi's problem is that he only plays if he feels like it as Drouin. I rather have a two Armia than Domi. Domi is shaky defensively as Drouin. In modern hockey you cannot afford to have one way players if they can't seriously contribute to the Power play.

  12. The Montreal team is the smallest team in the league. The habs should not get anyone under 210 pounds. My boyfriend tells me that size still matters.

  13. Bergevin , got a lot of flack & criticism from MTL fan base on his lackluster trade deals in the past , enough is enough !!!!!
