I mean, 193 points in 131 games with McDavid in the OHL with Erie, with 53 of them goals, and then 448 games in the NHL, 216 points, 90 goals? That's a useful player. I think he'd be a GREAT Oiler.
That said, I'd LOVE Kass here in Bakersfield.
Connor Brown works hard, similar role as Yamamoto but not as easy to push around. Brown is also not afraid to stand in front of the net, so, a good replacement for Yamamoto.
Just need DeBrincat, then most of the old band will be back together. I know it ain't gonna happen, just wishful thinking.
If Yams is out and Brown is in that a great start. I hope we can make J. Pesce work, that would be superb. My biggest fear would be seeing Hellebuck going to LA. Wish we had a way to get him.

All you do is complain that the Oilers are doing nothing….they DON"T need to do much other than dump a salary, and of course thats a no-win. salary dumps always are. So stop your whining about it. They will see what they need at the trade deadline.
