"Make trades now, deal with the fallout later", is the exact position I think most Red Wings fans are in, and what a lot of us wanted to hear. Yeah, I might not like it if he trades one of our top prospects to get a DeBrincat or a Nylander, but I understand it, and if we make the playoffs this coming season, I'm here for it.
We’re not making the playoffs next year . East is too strong and we still lack a lot of offensive fire power. We need to hit a grand slam with these picks in the first two rounds. Landing a debrincat and overpaying him what he’s worth won’t bring us a cup. This draft is huge and Raymond,berggren,rasmussen etc… need to take a big step this season. That’s how we get great again
