I like the move. This team needs some grit, some sandpaper. Tons of young guys out there looking to make plays. It’s nice knowing we have guys down the lineup willing to protect them. Games can get chippy here and there.

Just to look at the bright side for those think this is too much to give to him: the cap hit is $1.1 million. If he clears waivers and sent down to Cleveland, it is just below the threshold ($1.125 million) in which we get full cap relief.

If you made me guess where a hockey player named Mathieu Olivier was from I would 100 times out of 100 say, “Quebec”. If you said that wasn’t it and made me keep guessing we would literally die before I said, “Biloxi, Mississippi”. 1000 monkeys with 1000 typewriters would guess it faster than me. That’s nuts.
