  1. Wasted pick to take ceiling 3-4 D man like Reinbacher at #5. Habs have a true #1-#2 ceiling RHD in Maillioux in the hopper. Barron is progressing well too. So they're not desperate for a RHD. To waste that high of a pick in such a forward-heavy draft would be dumber than dumb.

  2. Benson 15??? LOL…we'll see. I can't see any way he falls out of the top 10. And will likely go earlier. Seriously, size? skating? His size is NOT an issue. Knocks on his skating are way overblown, IMO. This kid killed it in the WHL at 16! Size or no size. This kid is going to be a star. Mark my words.

  3. As a Sabres fan i love that Dalibor Dvorsky pick just because of his size and skill. His knock is his skating but thats what skating coaches are for to hire. Word on the Street right now is the Sabres high on Dmitri Simashev and for some video i saw i saw Glimpses of Dahlin with his skating and puck control.

  4. I think Hrabal is going to be 1st rounder he had ridiculous save percentage and overwhelming majority of goals he did not catch were top shelf. He is going to be great starter goalie for team thats gonna draft him, very athletic and MASSIVE.

  5. Agregated seventh rounds final ranking from 30 recognized scouts wich are really scouting NHL prospects, see the sources and the method below. At the beginning of the draft it reflect strongly where it will go on the board and more the draft advance more the variation increase. In the first two rounds its quite precise and after round two it can give a good idea in wich round a player can go on the board. Its a good tool to help you to get value in your draft (avoid to draft a player too high or recognize when a player is sliding too much and pick him)

Ranked with a ''First line votation method'', all the lists are side to side and the players on the first line of each list receive one vote, and the player wich receive the greatest number of votes go on the board. If its equal the secound line counts as votes and so on and so forth. Once a player is selected, he's removed from all list and the second player on the list become the first and so on and so forth. This method is better than the average rank per player method, cause the average rank per player method give an exagerate value to a player wich is too high or too low on a certain list. The first line votation method eliminate the bias and the extremes. The player is going on the board when a majority of scouts think that this is the time for the player to go on the board.

  6. I could totally see Yzerman trading with St. Louis. I could see Yzerman trading 9th & 17th overall for St. Louis 10th, 25th and 29th overall. Yzerman could draft Axel Sandin Pellikka at 10, Otto Stenberg at 25 and David Edstrom at 29. 3 Swedes.

  7. There's a lot to like about Benson's game, but if the Flyers drafted him at #7 I'd be pissed. Leonard, Moore, and Reinbacher are better bets.

  8. The Blues are not taking Wood at #10, they have loads of wingers. He's the worst skater who will be taken in the 1st round, only plays one zone and doesn't play in the dirty areas. The guy is like Mike Hoffman if Mike Hoffman was a poor skater. Hardest of passes.

And FYI, Bolduc is a LW, and one of the top 30 drafted prospects in the league.

  9. I really expect the wild to take ritchie if he somehow drops, steal at 21. I doubt a center with his potential doesnt not go t20
