Is Seattle Seahawks’ Youthful Offensive Line Being Slept On?

For the majority of the past decade, the Seahawks have struggled to build a cohesive offensive line, which hindered protection for quarterbacks Russell Wilson and Geno Smith while also leading to inconsistency in the run game in recent years. But is the current group better than advertised? Hosts Corbin Smith and Rob Rang discuss PFF’s latest rankings and whether or not Seattle deserves to be ranked 30th overall in the trenches, revisit Ken Walker III’s dynamic rookie season and where he must grow to take a second year leap in 2023, and continue their 90-man rundown with players No. 80-76.

  1. PFF gets no acknowledgement in Pre-draft rankings, Post-draft rankings, or anything else. They're terrible across the board. My opinions and analysis far exceeds them and is far more accurate.

  2. I believe we were the team that played the most 3 TE sets. Meamimg, we might have needed the TEs to protect the line? Just a thought.

  3. Im so glad John S…is smarter than everyone who is complaining about the Seahawks adding more running backs . If you have 4 rbs you have none ! With the Seahawks history of injuries we may need 6 rbs on the roster ! Thanks John for being smarter than anyone in the NFL no less these fans who don't really understand the game !

  4. Overall I can see our O line being in the top 20. Plus all the other aspects of offence have improved too. Nxt season shoud be very strong for us. Put that together with a much improved defence we should be really good this year/ But next year just look out! Top 4 in all NFL.

  5. I know k9 has the big play ability. But I feel like Zach is more of a natural fit for our offense. If k9 gets hurt for a few games. I could see Zach taking the spot abd keeping it. Just cu he hits the whole better

  6. The receiving corps. Should be outstanding. That will help a lot. Go Hawks. 🐶😎🐶♥️💯

  7. I'm trying to control my excitement for this year's offense and the future. It'd be amazing for PC to coach an all time defense and then offense 10 years later. Can't wait.

  8. Pete Carroll’ time in the NFL expired about ten years ago since beast mode left and the league changed to a passing game and he is just old fashioned and probably still have a flip phone and go out recruiting even though he is not in college anymore

  9. He wouldn’t retire so they must fire him because his system like the Clevland Browns will yield 7-9 wins a season not very good or very bad . Tough NFL players don’t work anymore only skilled quarterbacks and WR and pass rushers plus playing mobile quarterback like college with limited passing skills don’t work in the NFL just look at Russel Wilson in Denver

  10. The OL is not the problem since 90% of the teams have bad offensive line and the best OL team is Cleveland Browns not exactly a winner

  11. Seawhawk OL is the best blockers for the running game in the NFL so maybe it is the coach And the system and the culture

  12. Plus the icing on the cake I mean the sh’t on top is the atrocious drafts year after year and the majority of the team are free agents and low level draft picks

  13. And considering that old expired head coach with defensive mind and no offensive skills beside smiling and running the sideline

  14. If you guys keep on discussing RB and OL only , you are missing the points, but considering one is RB and one OL I am not surprised

  15. It has the potential to be good. If players get better the OTs and the drafted center good. RG either way with be better without Jackson there. It could be darn good of awful if players regress or struggle to get better.

  16. PPF is trash. If you drafted and took players, they think are good you'd win 1 game a year. They are clueless.

  17. Larry you need to read your comment again because you didn’t say Pete Carroll is a good coach, he just better than some others and you are right ???? He is that bad
