I love lucic. And would love to see him back in boston. The team needs less love and hugs. And more toughness.

He would fit in quite nicely with the B’s. It’s no secret that he is close with many guys on the Bruins roster and frankly after watching them being intimidated when that t$&t Bennett got back into the Panthers lineup, we could use some toughness up front.

What turned me into a fan during his time in Calgary was his work ethic, he never took a shift off, he was 110% every time he stepped on the ice. He may be down a few steps since his prime years but nobody can question the big man's heart and desire to win. I hope he goes to Boston and lifts another cup. I will cheer him on no problem.

for all the flack people throw at Lucic, games rarely get out of hand with him in the line up. Fans can make fun of the guys ability and say "he's not that tough", but there's not one player in the league that wants to go with him unless they have to.

As a Canucks fan, I would love to do the the 1 year deal and do the whole the past is the past he made some comments and he matured and it would be nice to heal that relationship with the city and with Lucic and help give some leadership, like a 1.1 mil contract would not be terrible for a year and then that money off the books for next year.
the bruins missed the playoffs in 2015 by just 2 points damn. Heartbreaking. The penguins just beat them to the 8th seed while they got the 9th. Too bad it wasn't the other way around with the Bruins being the 8th in the playoffs and the pens coming just short missing by 2 points

Great video. I hated Lucic when i was with Boston, but it must be said that he never was a rat like Marchand.
Meanwhile, i have plenty of respect how he did deal with the contract situation. Even in EDM, the issue was the contract Chiarelli gave him.
He went from a top 6 scoring power forward to a bottom 6 workhorse, and never complained. Always stepped up for his teammates, when it was needed.
For 1m in a bottom 6 role, for sure, why not.
