I asked them when was the last time the Stanley Cup final has gone seven games which the home team has won every game? And Cleary said I think the devil’s in 1995 and then Zettleburg said it’s not gonna happen! we’re gonna win game six tonight here in Pittsburgh and win the cup again. Well I said good luck and after dropping them off I said hey Z can get a photo with you? he said sure! And guess you took the photo on my iPhone? Osgood. Well guess what happened we won game six in Pittsburgh and then we win game seven in Detroit. Well the Red Wings stayed at the Renaissance Hotel every year. But after that game 7 loss Penguins win the Stanley Cup ,I never see them again at the hotel. They’re superstitious and they didn’t wanna see me again at the hotel .
Hey I missed the entire regular season plus all the playoffs and the cup this is the very first event I will ever see really truly too sad too even talk about I misses alotof years and amount a century of hockey that's a mortal sin 💔

Definitely one of the best game 7s in NHL history, so much frickin talent on both sides where at this time there are potentially 8 future hall of fame candidates. Absolutely incredible I can sit and watch this entire game like I was watching it back when I was 15 in 2009. Phenomenal and I love how the Redwings and the fans showed so much respect at the end of this game during the cup raise and the handshake.
My wife said once: I really don't understand hockey – they beat each over and over all 60 minutes, afterwards shake hands and congradulate the winner?! I replied: no, you don't understand men… What a great Cup final!
