I’ve said since the day we got eliminated Marner should be the one to go, when everyone steps up in the playoffs he seems to be one of the few guys to shrink in the moment and the book is out on how to defend him, as soon as he touches the puck just aggressively pressure him and force him into a mistake, he is most effective when he has a second to see how a play is developing but if you limit that time then he’s not even close to as effective.
Unfortunately the way everyone’s contracts are set up I’m worried it’s going to end up being Nylander.
