The NHL gave Vegas a free trip to the cup, with the way that expansion draft was set-up. If they were given the same set of rules that Buffalo had to go by, they still wouldn't have even made the playoffs during their paltry six years of existence.

Guys, itโs not as much the โmic qualityโ it the input gain. He is clearly using earbuds with a built-in mic, which has the quality of a 90โs telephone or 3G cellphone. The only time it crackles and sounds really bad is when he speaks/yells louder than a certain threshold.
If you are a podcaster and want to know how to solve this issue, read below
This is because his input gain is set too high with no limiting or compression (audio processing) which means if he speaks louder than that threshold, the audio clips, and you hear unpleasant digital distortion.
This concept is why hard rock tube guitar amps sound awesome! But also the reason digitally distorted voice sounds unpleasant.
TLDR; Lower your input gain, and add a limiter to your audio channel! These processing tools are free and built in to OBS.

I honestly see matthews signing for either two or eight years… how much for those two years will remain to be seen but that gives him the largest possibility for a good bump in money.
Its not just about the cap going up, but also who else's contract is up for renegotiations. Tavares money comes off the books in 2025.
I cant imagine tavares signing for more money than hes gotten hes already on the decline age wise. So not only will the cap be up but he wont be making as much either.
If matthews does sign long term it will be with both of those things in mind so it would not shock me if he comes in at around 14 million a season for 8 years.
Honestly the longer term one seems more likely seeing as hes had multiple wrist surgeries, and one jnjury could end his career and cut off future potential earnings. he will probably grab large signing bonuses to help with taxes.
