Dubois is asking for twice what he is worth. As a Habs fan, lets forget him and move on.
No to Washington. I'd rather have Mitchvok Our foreign scout is bent on Reinbacher but I'd rather the 5th over all no matter who it is. They made mistakes in the past with French players and or foreign players with picks.
Keep the 5th. Lapierre isn't worth losing the 3 spots. We have 4-5 centers better than him. Even Dvorak is better than he is….ill pass thanks
If Washington want Michkov that much they can certainly offer more. The problem is he probably won't be available at#5. So far Hendrix hasn't shown much . I'm still hoping for Leo Carlsson. If we do draft him, then we could explore a trade of Dvorak as we'd have Carlsson and Beck to potentially fill his spot. There will undoubtedly be some growing pains but that's normal in a rebuild. Once again – hard no PLD. 👍🥴
There are 2 generational talents in this draft. Montreal might have a chance to pick one.

I dont know LaPierre at all but I feel like that trade would be a little anticlimactic… I/we've been soooo excited for this years draft with all the posibilities choosing this one would be kind of meh, imo. This said tho, if our management feels that Lapierre/reinbacher would be a better mover than leonard or michcov, I trust them! I'm really happy about this management group so far so no reason to not trust them now.
CRAZY to think MSL only retired in 2015 (or so)… It feels like yesterday to me.
It also means that most 28-29+ years old NHL players all played against him on the ice at some point.
I don't know why I find this so fascinating now that I think about it lol 😛

Hendrix Lapierre of the CALDER CUP Champions…. Congrats to Hershey Bears in beating Coachella Firebirds last night… Lapierre scored to tying goal and Hershey won a ROAD 7TH game in OT … i watched the game as I am on the WRIGHT watch!

Would definitely keep Dvorak in the linup. While he is not always flashy he is reliable. You need guys that can show up and get the work done.
Coach I think it would be hard to trade dovorak what about Evans but I really like him
I wouldn't move down 5 to 8 because Leonard and Benson are most likely gone. Only way I do it is if Washington offers pick 8, 40 and Washington 2024 no trade protection, otherwise I just stay at 5.
Nobody wants Dvorak or exchange for the low
TRADE dVorak for whatever someone offers you .. can't be picky w/ average hockey players.
I'd rather see Kent Hughes pick Ryan Leonard @ 5th overall, than obtain Reinbacher or Dvorsky plus Hendrix via trade with Caps !
Washington would not give up on Lapierre who was selected in the first round. He is under control for the next 2 years with Entry level contract of $ 863, 333. Problem is washington really does not have any prospects or current team players that Montreal likes. So how do you entice Montreal to trade down 3 spots?? Their only other draft pick is at 41 which may not even make the nhl. Only way I see something happening with washington is if there is a third team involved otherwise NO deal.
Dvorak is a must move player. The move clears cap space and Beck is a far better player.
I say Habs move up or keep the 5th pick.
