Finally, someone agrees on kings needing 2nd line center Asap. #1 goalie and player down the middle are kings, two biggest holes. They have been now for several seasons.
Russell, Byfield would be part of the trade for PLD or it won't work. Vilardi would be the last asset I would trade.
I'm with John Hoven, Mark Yanetti is the smartest guy in hockey, something very telling is the middle to late round success, since he was hired in 07', over 2,000gp from 4th round picks Alec Martinez the highlight but off hand 5 guys over 100gp (Marty, Dwight King, Linden Vey, Austin Wagner, Mikey Anderson) and Jordan Spence looks to be another steal, but honestly it's easier to name the 4th round picks who haven't played at least 2 games in the NHL being Steven Johnson(14') and Marcus Phillips(17') and in the 7th round over 1,000gp from Nic Dowd, Jordan Nolan, Matt Roy, Dominc Kubalik, and Jacob Middlton and 2 recent 7th rounders that have high potential Andre Lee and Aatu Jamsen, Lee is a big kid who skates well and has soft hands in tight if he can use his size more effective watch out, and Jamsen has star potential in his 2nd season in the top Finnish League at 19 years old he had 32 points in 43 games and a respectable 8 points in 15 playoff games on a team that played for a championship and he was the most impressive player at last year's dev camp. I think the reason Blake hasn't hired an AGM is because he doesn't want someone poaching him fron the organization
No way we should give up Vilardi. Chances of Byfield replacing Kopitar is non existent. He hasn’t shown any flashes of brilliance befitting a #2 pick. He would have to equal Kopi for us to even have a chance at a cup. This will be his third season and in my opinion his last chance to prove he can be a top 6 forward. The ducks will most likely pic Fantilli and I bet he will preform better his first year. PLD is not better than Kevin Fiala so he’s not worth what’s he’s asking. Maybe 6 million tops.
