I think there needs to be a push to get Pouliot out of the line up for anyone else. I found myself yelling at the TV everytime he messes up a play. Its been a couple of games here now where he tries to get out of a situation by himself but he just doesn’t have the skill to do it. He plays such a weak game on the back end and constantly gives up the puck or loses a battle in his own end. Are they just holding out til Hughes finishes up in Michigan later this year or is there someone else within the organization that deserves a look? Or is there a possible trade for that spot in the line up? A 5th/6th/7th defensemen that is stronger in his own zone? Thoughts?
Pettersson, Boeser and Horvat is a good start for a rebuilding team. Markström looks inspired and Edler is still a very good defenseman. Hope he's back soon. Horvat is a really good center, he desperatly needs more talent.
