Treveling is a perfect fit for a GM

I have nothing against Brad Treveling, but he couldn't win in Calgary and the team quit on him. Trade Lilgren, keep Gustivson. Keep Sammy and Woll for the net! Move out nylander, kerfoot, reese, holl. Leafs are going to be busy this summer.
Leafs don't need a goalie. They need a 2nd line center and a real power forward to play with Matthews and Marner. line 1 Bertuzzi-Matthews-Marner. 2nd line JT-Gritty center-Willie. 3rd line Knies-Jack McBain- Acciari 4th line Lafferty-Kampf- Lucic. Leafs should trade Holmberg in a package for Jack McBain he is a bottom six guy the leafs need for a playoff run.

I would love to see Gord Stellick back in the fold as GM. I know it's far fetched but he is a guy who had the opportunity back in the day and declined. I think his knowledge and experience especially with the Maple Leafs Organization would be a definite asset and who better than someone with a face and name that can surely change this Organization into a Stanley Up contender……your thoughts Andrew a bit far fetched or could it work if he would hang up his retirement status and go GM again.

I think you are wrong about the conflict of interest issue, a lot of GMs have reportedly said its a a no no…and it looks worst because its the same management group that Mathews uses…Dubas should have had the common sense to stay away from that agency.

too bad Murray couldn't stay healthy 12 – 6 -2, but now he will be gone because Woll wont clear waivers, he is not waiver exempt anymore. Samsonov will get 3.5 to 4 mil. on a 2 – 3 year deal,Definatly bring back Schenn & Accari, those 2 were good in the play offs, i seen a piece on TSN today where Schenn says he hopes to get re – signed here, good too hear that, cookie would stay too, if they trade Matthews then re – sign ROR to like 6 mil.1 of Matthews if he signs which im not sold on or Marner have to go for the cap plus they would bring in a kings ranson of picks 1st , A-LIST prospects and players, save that cap for the deadline and next year.this team will still make the play offs next year regaurdless of who is here.

im more concerned about the coaching situation , i dont like the way keefe coaches , the way they cycle the puck specially in there own zone drive me bonkers , the line combos and d pairings he kept going with drove me bonkers like this guy has a good record because the leafs have been a top 5 team last 5 years so regular season numbers would be great but im over it he was dubas friend his guy he brought him in because if wasnt for dubas keefe would have never been a coach here with the leafs , they need a tougher coach , a guy who will hold these brats accountable and let these guys know what i say goes because i swear they dance around keefe they dont care
