  1. Carolina will get rid of Burns' old ass before they move Pesce. Who would you rather pay? Pesce clearly

  2. Los Angeles Dodgers honoured a hate group on the weekend and were swept by San Francisco, including a 15 – 0 loss, the worst home loss in 125 years for the Dodgers franchise. Bad karma for honouring blatant hatred against Christians (not even covered by Canadian or American media)
Imagine the 24/7 media firestorm if the Dodgers had honoured a group that promoted that same hatred toward Muslims, Jews….etc…

  3. I heard a rumour the Canucks are trying to get Pesce. He certainly prototypes as the kind of defenseman they could really use. If they could add him without giving up a 1st round pick, they could bring back Schenn and round out their top 4. Myers could be traded after he's paid his bonus money along with another winger and maybe they could pick up a pick or prospect or a 3rd line centre or more defensive depth. Even with Pesce, the Canucks would need more quality NHL defensive depth.

  4. Brown to the Oilers makes sense and Pecse would be a huge add for the Oil. Not sure who h,e players with? Maybe Nurse and turn him back into a scorer?

  5. 1st – you (when I say that I mean the media in Canada) think the Oilers are a lot better team than they actually are ,,,I saw the same playoff games you did and I never saw Vegas losing to Edmonton with or without a Goalie,,, the Oilers have actually regressed this year, they were absolutely amazing on the PP but as everyone who follows hockey knows youā€™re not winning the Stanley Cup when you canā€™t be an elite team 5/5 ,,,PP and PK help but itā€™s not the major part,,, as for Karlsson, I love that player too but letā€™s not forget he got 100 pts but heā€™s probably been on the ice for 150 goals against! Heā€™s a good D but heā€™s not elite anymore, even in his prime he wasnā€™t that good defensively,,,

  6. Vancouver moves to come: MILLER, J.T. … at the draft tables, to Pittsburgh, for Marcus Pettersson (D) – can't have enough Pettersson's in the system! – & 14th Overall pick; BOESER, B. & 11th Overall Pick … to Chicago for Lukas Reichel (C) & 19th Overall Pick; Future Considerations (will be Myers, T. (D) after his signing payment has been paid) & 19th Overall Pick … to Nashville for 15th Overall Pick; Canucks draft at 14 & 15, whoever's left between Reinbacher, Shimashev, Willander – in that order – with 14 & whoever's left between Leonard, Moore, Dvorsky, Danielson – in that order. Canucks go into Free Agency with aprox. $23 Mill CAP space. BET YOUR HOUSE ON IT !!!

  7. For oilers itā€™s easy, nurse for Karlsson, people will laugh buts itā€™s only way dollar in and dollar out, sharks retain little and both teams are happy

  8. EK65 – considering they gave up Josh Norris, Tierney and eventually Timmy Stew (Stutzle) for EK65… i can't honestly see them giving him up for a song to a team *AND* retaining salary? Maybe I'm too emotionally attached, cause I love the Sharks… I am kinda happy that his contract is huge, because since Burnzie was traded it looks like to me he's got 4 more awesome years (full steam ahead) and its hard for any team to acquire him. I could see Detroit giving their 2 first round picks this year, and first round next year, or like a Moritz Seider (if I'm Detroit I don't wanna lose this guy) it felt like to me the Timo Meier situation was forced because of the $10 mil qualifying offer due to his unique contract (which is now in arbitration for that reason) the Sharks didn't wanna deal with that and are going in a full rebuild mode. Karlsson for huge contracts, or lots of draft picks but I don't see San Jose being desperate enough to ship him "for the sake of it" and retaining salary TBH. I believe the Sharks are a playoff team in 3 years time (2 full seasons left on/EK65 deal)
