BOLD MOVE BY THE DUCKS?
As the draft gets closer, speculation and rumors are swirling around the Russian prospect Matvei Michkov. Most rankings have him at 4 or 5, and many people expect the Sharks to take him. Others say he might drop due to concerns about his attitude. But other sources say that the Ducks just might take a big swing and grab him with their #2 pick.

3 year wait is along time, but could be the time he needs to grow up a bit with his 'locker room' issues.
Do drafted players usually play the following year for there teams? I though they almost always get sent down to develop further.
