  1. I suspect part of Brad deciding to move on from Calgary was he could see this situation coming and he didn’t want to deal with it.

Toffoli wanted term, Hanifin wants to go the US (per Elliotte), Lindy wants the money, Backs wants to win. It’s just that simple and Conroy is smart enough to do what’s best for the organisation of the Flames. Why drag Brad in to this anymore, the dude is gone

Theres a cap floor… Its not a bad thing to have those 3 if we are rebuilding…
But we’re not. Trading those 4 will bring peices that likely will be better than them… ie see what happened last year.
If they dont want to be here, kick them out!! Dont cry for them… they are all replaceable with eager better replicas.

Brad pulled the pin on a grenade, tossed it into the room, then peaced the f outta there

  5. Huberdeau had a poor season with us but I bet (and hope) a lot of the league attributes his poor performance to a) new team and b) poor coaching.

Wasn’t there already a rumour that Huby could be traded to Arizona?

I think Huby is great, I don’t mind keeping him but I also don’t think he’s dead weight, from a contract perspective, either. If we deal him, I would be pretty apathetic about it.

A rebuild is perfectly doable with hube and kadri. We need to reach the cap floor and we need some players we can ride the shit out of when we are getting our asses stomped so we don’t ruin our young players. Kadri especially is perfect for that
