Ok so the 1st round pick is on the table so add that into a possible Calgary trade

It’s hard to determine what immediate help looks like when you don’t know the future status of AM, Nylander, O’Rielly, Marner and Matt Murray.

This team had $45 million of the cap tied up into 5 forwards and for the 6th year in a row they were eliminated from the playoffs because they couldn’t score.

Pagnotta isn’t a real source, especially for the Leafs.

    That said…no shit.

We’re actually running it back, aren’t we?

    Fucking insane.

  5. Go get Konecny. They want another first. We probably have to add but maybe we can get some retention.

If we commit to playing Knies, Holmberg and even Steeves (or anyone who beats him in preseason) then we have some money to spend on a top six lw.

Are they willing to include Keefe in that trade?

I highly doubt this. Pagnotta isn’t a credible source in my books and moving the 1st for immediate help shouldn’t be the move.

Keep the pick or move back to gain multiple assets

Sandin was worth way more then a 28th overall pick. There’s no question. What a bad trade in for sight

I’ll refrain from making a comment about Nylander.

    Immediate help? So an exorcist?

  10. LeafsRealist

I’ll refrain from making a comment about Nylander.

Immediate help? We’re gonna trade a 1st for an exorcist?

    Who ever you get,

    Make. Sure. He. Can. Check.

I don’t see how they get rid of Murray without shipping that 1st with him. So I’m guessing a buyout is coming?

Apparently a 1st cant even get you an average bottom-6er like Scott Laughton these days. Think i’d rather take a swing with the pick.

Fire the GM, but keep the coach and the Core 4…I don’t think I would sign in TO.

That Sandin kid in Washington has a ton of upside. I wonder if we can steal him away for a late first?
