Karlsson is a complete LEGEND for this hilarious speech…

William Karlsson delivered an EPIC speech at the Vegas Golden Knights Stanley cup parade last night… and it was hilarious that he actually got the mic taken away from him for what he said!!! NHL offseason coming up!

  1. The sole reason I got into hockey was simply being able to witness a modern era expansion draft. and got attached to the team. You don’t need to be from same area to like a team. Am from washington and I’m a proud 49er fan. I literally live minutes away from both the kraken and Seahawks stadiums. Fuck seattle teams 😂😂

  2. The speech was incredible. I couldn't stop laughing. Karlsson is hilarious. On another note. please stop with the bandwagon shit. I am a converted Penguins fan and I have been a season ticket holder since year one and I am like the majority of the fans here in Las Vegas. We give a damn and know the fucking game. This city was unified with the Golden Knights when the massacre happened at the Route 91 Harvest festival and 58 people we murdered. The teams reaction to honor the fallen victims really helped with this city getting through that terrible tragedy. That's why the people here were so angry when players like Fleury were moved out. People really were connected to all of the players that year and had to learn how management works in the NHL. It seemed heartless at the time (I was an incredible critic of McCrimmon last year) but things were done that were necessary to make Vegas a better team. The insults to the fan base are getting really old. It may be 6 years, but this team is a big part of the lives of people here.

  3. I’ve been watching my hometown team the Buffalo Sabres since 1970. I’m not the only one living in Las Vegas from hockey towns. There’s 100’s of thousands of us hockey starved band wagon jumpers here.

  4. He is typically one of the quieter ones. Stop with the bandwagon shit. We have a great fan base. Many of us liked other teams and converted the day we heard we were getting a vegas born team. I was originally a canucks fan. This is way less painful lol. If your not a local you don’t understand our community at all. We’re a misfit city so our golden misfit team fits us perfectly.

  5. You say a lot of their fans are bandwagoners while ignoring the fact that for way longer than 6 years people living in Vegas had no professional teams (really just the Rebels in college basketball) to root for. Plus this team helped the city heal from what happened in October 2017.

Yeah yeah, go ahead and tell me "thanks for the view" with the smugness and snark you use to call Vegas fans bandwagoners. Still, here's my dislike to your video.

  6. Salty much? Canucks fan, eh? Raised in Vegas and loved the Wings since early '90s with Lidstrom signing. Hockey's been a big thing in Vegas for quite some time. Not the NHL level because we were never thought of as an NHL destination. Fun fact. Many fans have witnessed CuJo with the Las Vegas Thunder the year that the Avs swept the only time FLA ever made an appearance in the final. Many of us watched our favorite team from Las Vegas and had many discussions about why Vegas was a great place back in the early 2000's. Another fun fact, Jerry Bruckheimer wanted to build the expansion way before Foley did. It's why I believe he decided to go with Seattle, because he knew how much hockey could impact a thriving city. Bandwagons are a plenty. We f'n hear about many of them, but is it so wrong that a team like VGK had inspired someone to become a fan… and not the Canucks? EDIT: Sorry, adding salt. I have yet to meet someone that became a fan of that team outside of Vancouver. Something to chew on.

  7. The bandwagon commentary is so old and tired it really just reveals ignorance on the part of whomever espouses it. The translation of Karly s speech in a nutshell: Marchy is finally getting the credit he deserves.
You see we've known about Marchy since day F 1. The consensus among the self appointed hockey experts was Marchy was too small to be an impactful NHL player. Now these same hockey "experts"(like this channel) are suddenly figuring out what we've known about Marchy since day F 1. That, to me, is the definition of a "bandwagoner".
Such a legendary speech from a true teammate and friend. Brought tears to my eyes ngl

  8. Karlsson was my favorite VGK skater from day one. And of course Marchessault was a favorite because us little guys got to stick together. Golden Misfits Forever!

  9. Anyone who didn't like his speech can get bent because that man is a legend, he deserves a street named after him in vegas after that speech. He's been in his own words, "Pretty f***ing great!" You gotta love him. GO KNIGHTS!
