Phil Kessel got interviewed followed the Vegas Golden Knights winning the stanley cup and him winning the nhl for his 3rd season! Crazy stuff and heres what he had to say.

Ya I don’t get why he says he’s going to keep playing , if they think you’re a liability in the playoffs who tf is going to pay him ? If he can use the summer to get in amazing shape then ya. And it is possible. But it’s impossible to motivate yourself as much as that task would require at his age and after he’s been to the mountain top already. Get out if the way for someone else in any case. If being a healthy scratch for almost the whole playoffs isn’t enough of a hint.
Everyone loves going in down the hill on the slide but they always forget the parents that carries the slide up the hill and gives you the push. That’s kessel. I have absolutely more respect for him now.
The Panthers were beaten up beyond belief with injuries…. Vegas dominated Florida for the most part but I couldn’t understand pulling the goalie for a 6 on 5 when the score was 8-3 in favor of Vegas.
Every uear you see the locker room guys dressed up and hitting the ice to raise the Cup. Their teammates believe they deserve it so be it. Im Glad Quicky got to raise it after he got done dirt by my kimgs. Rob blake is a bitch
Alot of his teammates on the US national team way back when said he was the most talented player on those jr teams. He never put in the off season work like other players did but was still a beast.
He had a great early career. I didn’t remember seeing him at all in the last two rounds of the playoffs. I actually thot he was in Dallas. But, he’s a Wisconsin guy, so love him for that.
The ironman streak isn't lost. It only counts during regular season games. The Vegas Golden Knights organization made sure of that and released a statement early in the playoffs to that effect. Go Phil!
Phil is not only a great player but he's an even better human being…His day with the Cup after he won the Stanley Cup…He took the Cup to Sick Kids in Toronto…He didn't have to do that…That just shows you how much character he has.
