Bolts have been dominating most of this series, as they did tonight again.
They have been outplayed 4 out of the 5 games thats sad you think they would come out skating and forchecking their butts off but no another crap start again waiting until 5 minutes left in game to really try .If they cant get up for this game st home with that crowd buzzing like that then sorry to tell you folks its over
They are fighting to win way too late. 3 straight games now, and only the last 7-8 minutes of the game are they firing on all cylinders. Not good enough for the playoffs. You get what you give.

Statistically speaking, more often than not, teams who are up 3-1 in a series lose the game 5 that could have eliminated their foe.
to be fair tonight sammy should have had the 2nd one, 3rd one kampf actally tripped him right before it went in. holl was on the ice and lost his man on all three goals. thats the greatest issue at hand. lilly for game 6 please. also bunting not playing in favour of lafferty?? come one keefe…..

No worries. It's virtually impossible to lose year after year, especially having held a series lead. Sooner or later, the leafs will benefit from a tip, a bounce, a screen shot, a puck off the face and in, and the series will be won. It's time. Note: not a leafs fan, just a realist.

Smacked the like button hard. I've been watching a lot of Toronto fan's reactions to games in this series and although I am very happy Tampa is hanging in there, it is tough watching you guys try the cheer for the Leafs when they are struggling to win every time.
C'mon bro, did you really think y'all were gonna just run through the LIGHTNING ⚡ and on to the 2nd round?? Now you're going back to TAMPA and it's not gonna go well for the leafs, Toronto, game 4 was your last win!!

Not doom and gloom yet! Leafs essentially were trying to sweep Tampa Bay after the GM1 nightmare. Leafs haven't made any decent lineup adjustments for 3 GMs cuz what they had has been working and now we lost a game where it didn't work and now the Leafs have the opportunity to adjust from this game and give themselves the best chance to win on Saturday. IMO Bunting slots back in and someone from the 4th line comes out ( Lafferty is my pick played slightly over 6Mins and had a +/- of -2. not good enough ) Bunting can at least log 12 – 15mins per game and be more effective as a player but his temperament is the thing stopping him but usually when Bunting is downgraded in the lineup, he comes out to play. Bunting, ROR, and Acciari would be an absolute headache for Tampa especially if you match them up to Tampa's 3rd Line of Jeannot, Paul, and Hagel. Jarnkrok should move either down to the 4th line with Kampf and ZAR because he hasn't been of help offensively but he still takes shots on goal which the 4th line just doesn't seem to do enough of. Secondary scoring matters and Tampa has been getting the benefit from their players but not Toronto. Kerfoot, JT, and Nylander are our 2nd line and generally worked well at times during the season. If that line lacks scoring during the game then you flip Kerfoot and O Reilly and load up the two lines and Knies deserves an opportunity to play a Full Game with Matthews and Marner at this point and see where it goes? D Corp stays the same I just don't see Keefe bringing in Liljgrenn cold for a Do or Die GM6 in Tampa it just doesn't compute but Keefe is right in saying that the D needs to be better and the blame is not to be placed solely on Holl here. I will remain cautiously optimistic for Saturday but if this series does go to 7 then my optimism goes out the window at that point. Another major fear is Keefe goes 11/7 on Saturday and If he does I might mentally break a bit but we just gotta shrug this off and move forward and hope for the best GLG!

If leafs lose game 6, their season is certified to be over because they always CHOKE game 7.
It may be that while the Oilers on the weekend close out their 1st-round series with a win over the Kings, the Leafs will win NEITHER game 6 NOR 7. I'm not ready to write off the Leafs as a potential 1st-round playoff series winner although should it become clear, no later than with just under 5 minutes to go in the 3rd period of game 7, the Laughs are so far behind they're unlikely to come back, I likely will then predict that effective soon after that, the Leafs will be 1st-round exit champions once again.
We've all been down this road before. We know exactly where it ends.

That second goal can’t go in! The third goal, Samsonov was completely out of position. Vasilevsky wouldn’t have been out of position like that. Justin Holl sucks too. He was on the ice for the vast majority of the goals in this series. Check the stats. Every good team has a great goalie. Dubas is dumb, he should have traded for a goalie. Fleury was available before he got snatched.
Marner the choke artist coulda tied the game up and made some questionable “passes”. He never steps up when the pressure is on…
Losing this game will give the Boys All the fuel they need to Destroy Tampa in there own Building – Sammy Plays Best on the Road – Saturday Night Hockey is the perfect place to End this !!! BUT if Leafs cannot win Saturday then I'm afraid they chances of winning a Game 7 is Very Very Very Very Very Very Slim.
