We missed out on Sedoff, Grubbe went to Edmonton and King to Van. Kai is slated to go right around our 5th pick. Kid scored 50 goals this year. Overshadowed obviously by Bedard but he knows where to be around the net and was clutch on the power play this year. He’s only had the one huge year which is probably why he’s projected so late but I’d love to see him get a chance to develop here.

He was suspended by the Thunderbirds for racist attacks against his own teammate. Never apologized, the WHL never said what he did to be reinstated, he was just quietly traded to Red Deer. Can we just not?
