Oh it doesn’t matter, he’s a waste of space. These moves have me very optimistic for atleast a better season
Him gone is good enough. Fuck tony e’angelo
Charlie said in a tweet below
“I’m told it’s a prospect that Carolina hasn’t signed yet”
Who could it be?
Seems like a weird deal to trade him for effectively nothing. I feel like the salary retention slot is worth at least a mid round pick based on previous trade deadlines.
Better than the infamous prospect Future Considerations
Who cares, get that racist off the team
Don’t GAF. An autographed RJ Umberger puck will do
Wouldn’t hate if it was Justin Robidas.
Couldn’t care less. Later fucker.
Who cares what we get for DeAngelo? The dude is a cancer and sucks at defense as a defensemen. Later nerd.
I’d take half a ham and cheese sandwich and a couple oreos for him to be honest
Something is better than nothing, and DeAngelo is worse than nothing.
Addition by subtraction
On God, Briere is just getting every personality pole out of that locker room. Provy, Hayes, TDA, even Laughton, all guys that have personalities/was in controversy are getting cleared out. Crazy moves doing a locker room restart, and I think it’s the right one.
Imo this is a bad move. You can only retain on 3 contracts at a time. TDA is so bad on defense I’d rather just keep him as a tank commander than trade him for basically zero return.
Don’t get your hopes up? Oh don’t worry about that, we’re flyers fans, remember?
don’t care, see ya!
I’d be happy with a bag of pucks and a free hogie from Wawa lol
Can I finally go to sleep?
Honestly, makes sense. Instead of thinking of this as a trade for talent, it’s likely that they had two options – 1. Hold on to DeAngelo til the deadline and get a 3rd or 4th for him, or 2. Trade him now, clear up $2.5m, and use that space to potentially acquire another bad contract to get a better asset.
