I like the trades. But cant help to think we have fck all for draft picks for the next two seasons.
Wow, all in!! If the Leafs get bounced yet again in the first round, they are screwed! Dubis would get fired, and the next GM would be without how many first and second rounders? 5?6? I have lost count. Then most likely Mathews signs elsewhere. All their eggs in one basket now!!

I am very impressed this season. I know I hated at the time the amount of picks to acquire O Reilly as well Accarri. However if you told me we d also have Jake McCabe and Lafferty š®
I may be a little selfish in saying should we not try and flip a guy for another solid keeper in case Murray goes down which is always a possibility lol

I think this year the opportunities have been here to acquire some solid players and Dubas has done just that. If the team canāt win the 1st round once again, thatās all on the players!

I get that at some point you have to trade high picks to acquire augmenting pieces when the team is poised to do well. Yet Kyle Dubas has managed to be fairly stingy in that regard.

What I like about this trade is that both players have term beyond this season. This move takes 2 roster spots off of the board for next season's training camp and makes the job of re-signing half of a team, currently on expiring contracts, a little easier.

If the Maple Leafs lose in the first round this year, its on the players, not Dubas. Kyle Dubas has done everything he can to make the Maple Leafs the best they can be.

I find it hilarious people say Dubas hasn't done enough. We have 3 star forwards and they haven't gotten it done when it counts. That's on the players. Not Dubas.
