    Seems like he’ll QB PP2. Only 1 year left and hopefully they retain 50%. Not the move I would’ve made, but I kinda get it as a stop gap on 3rd pairing

    WTF???!!!! WHY???!!!! We do NOT want him back here! In addition to his character issues, we already have more than enough defensemen, and Burns is still locked up for a few years and he has been playing really well (arguably better than TDA), and our biggest need is goal-scoring forwards, WHY on EARTH would we bring him back? This makes ZERO sense to me.

    I love his competitive spirit so I’m down for it. I felt like that was a big missing piece for us last year a competitive Rat. Tony is our Rat. My problem with Ghost was that I felt like he didn’t care. We won’t ever have that problem with Tony.

    even at 50% reatained that’s $2.5M? I really liked the 3rd pair with Chatfield and Gostisbehere, and thought Ghost in particular just fit great and moved the puck well from a handedness POV. TDA had a pretty decent season with us in that one year before flaming out in the playoffs. Dont’ expect he’d be better than Ghost, but it’d be interesting to see how he does in the third pairing role.

    IDK, not super excited, feel like there could be better options out there, but not sure who they are.
