  1. McDonagh went down like he got shot. Imagine if Simmonds got a lot on the jab.

  2. Give me a break. I'm a rangers fan but Simmonds is not a dirty player.

In the 80's and 90's that kind of jab was in EVERy single after whistle gathering.

Lets not act like this is some Todd Bertuzzi or Matt Martin sucker punch.

  3. If he drops after getting a punch to the face with a glove on that didn't even seem like he used any power than he should not be a hockey player. Get rid of the glass jaw players and bring back the steel.

  4. I’d have punched McDonough if he hi sticked like that too. Simmons literally got the shaft by the refs on that one.

  5. McDonough cross checks him in the face, Simmonds punches him in retaliation and gets intent to injure?

  6. Video shows Mcdonagh high sticking/ cross checking Wayne in the neck/head area. Of course Wayne punches him after the fact, which is the real penalty. I understand. If your gonna penalize both …I can agree with that. But, c'mon man. Nonsense.

  7. A female trainer for the Philadelphia Flyers. Is the first female training in the history of the NHL?

  8. I've seen literally hundreds of players get punched in the face during scrums or shoving matches and receive zero tolerance, so I don't know what made this incident so egregious.
It's not like it was a sucker or a punch to the back of the head or something.
Either way, I'll take that on my team any day. Welcome to the Leafs

  9. McDonagh cross checked him in the head first. Plus, intent to injure for punching a guy in the face? Either McDonagh is soft or took a hard flop on that one.
