Saw it in a comment and it’s true. He’s the only guy other than Backlund who’s played since the 15/16 season. I just think that’s crazy since he’s viewed as one of our young up and coming players who hasn’t fully been playing in the NHL consistently. (He’s also my favourite hockey player in general)

Hard to believe eh?
Yesterday was kind of shocking, but after thinking it over I’m fine with it.
As long as Conroy gets great value back and doesn’t just jump at the first offer.
I think this is going to be exciting. I’d prefer picks, prospects, or anyone under the age of 30.
I’m also thinking maybe we can throw some 1 year prove it deals out there on guys like Tarasenko, JVR (who I don’t personally like that much) hell even Patty Kane. He’s having some surgery and will miss a lot of the year.
Maybe if we invest in a 1 year deal with any of these guys we can flip them at the trade deadline and get even more picks. I’m just spitballing, that’s probably a bad idea, but we’ve had guys like Lewis and Lucic here, so why not any of the above, especially if no other teams are interested in their services.
Anyways, it’s going to be freaking interesting.
I have no idea about time frames, so is there a trade freeze or anything right now, or can trades be made immediately?
Kylington has been a project. With the likely departure of Hanifin, i’m really excited to see what he does with the opportunity.
What about Ras? Both were drafted the same year.
Flat out lie. Ras was picked first and was ahead in development the entire time. Way more games played as a flame than Oliver.
