Seems comparable to a modern day version of Pavel Bure….
I personally think that Mr. Gorton & Mr. Hughes will be asking character related questions from Michkov.
We are rebuilding and they desire skill, size, character and a good attitude going forward IMO.

I'm sure as was the case with other Russian players in the NHL, he'll be asked about the conflict with Ukraine and what his opinion is. And I'm sure if he doesn't respond the way society over here wants him to respond, he'll be chastised. Hopefully, his handlers will put the kibosh to all that crap.

Thanks, Junkie! Honestly, I don't follow juniors or the KHL much, and I rely on people like you to keep me informed. From what you, and others, have said, Michkov would likely be the 2nd or 3rd pick if he wasn't Russian or had that KHL contract. If that's the case, I really hope the Habs keep the 5th pick and are able to get him there. If someone takes him sooner, I suppose Will Smith or another top prospect will be available. For what some people are speculating to have the Habs move up to 4th, or even 2nd, just doesn't make sense.
First question Habs should ask him, “Can you swim in a pond?” Last thing you want is to draft him and he mysteriously drowns in a shallow pond
