We will see how this develops throughout the next day or so, but hearing this morning that Torey Krug is leaning towards not waiving his no-trade clause.

I can’t believe Torey Krug refusing to waive his NTC means we are avoiding a disastrous trade.
This reported deal was hot garbage since the Hayes rumors started. It has been my contention that the best use for the late first round picks was in combination with a salary dump of a D man not named Faulk, especially if it’s not retaining any salary.
Kind of glad the NTC is biting Doug in the ass. He hands them out to every middling free agent that comes through the door but wouldn’t give his cup winning captain an NMC. Reap what you sow Douggy boy, 47 is here to stay.
I’d get not wanting to go to a rebuild, but not waiving it at all? If my job openly discussed that they didn’t want me, I think I’d hit Indeed.com
Sick
Army’s habit of handing out these NTCs like halloween candy was bound to bite him on the ass at some point. And I don’t buy the leverage with free-agents angle. A GM can still refuse to trade a certain guy. It’s not like he’s being robbed.
