Doubt many are willing (or able) to take on EK’s salary. If they thought he was capable of 75 pts for a few more years, perhaps.
But whatever slowed him down prior to last year’s big year could easily rear its head again.

It would be great to see him play in Detroit, but besides the Swedish connection, what can we offer him, we aren't close to being contenders and having him on the team won't change that. Then there is the price, 2 first's plus prospects, cost is to high we are still rebuilding. I would rather have us keep the picks, draft well and build for the future.
