What should the Leafs do this offseason?
I really like this channel, but if this is the kind of off-season coverage…I'm gonna peace out. "I heard a rumor, what do you think about this?" isn't close to the incisive commentary you've had during the season and especially the playoffs. I get it, this is a problem that needs to be solved for a channel like this during the summer months but…no. See y'all in the fall!
Brodie…meh.
Decent defender in his own zone, good passer….but not a very physical hitter, soft and not very accurate wrist shot and slap shot, not a fighter. A true number 4 defender who should be playing with a D partner who is a wrecking ball on skates with a canon for an arm.
Not sure what is up with the Leafs management and their absolute refusal to have any defenders who have anything resembling a hard shot, just nothing but muffins.

Your last 2 videos on the leafs were terrible. Going on about leafs signing matthews to a shorter deal, one thing u never mentioned was maybe that's all matthews wanted, you can't make em sign a 10 year deal if he doesn't want to, also every good player gets a nmc. Also Nobody from the leafs said they were looking to buyout brodie, someone just wrote a article about it which right after was denied by the leafs. Matt Murray buyout makes no sense. Cough up the 1st round pick to get rid of Murray and ride out Brodies last year or trade him if you can aquire 3 of Schenn, Mayfield, Orlov or saucy.

Matthews to Oilers for McDavid straight up, Marner to Chicago for 1st overall pick this year and Chicago picks up 85% of Tavares/Nylander contracts
Matt Murray will be on LTIR for the season so no point buying him out and you won't be penalized for it, Brodie just trade him he was one of Toronto better D during the season if anything eat up some of the salary but I'm sure a team can take his one year 5million contract.
