Huge day for him, he can now pass his brother in games played by a hurricane if he gets another 168 games. (3 seasons)

Maybe I'm tripping but can't teams use this for cap circumventing like we will pay you 5 million a season but you only play two years and we buy out the other two so you get your money? Im not saying that's what's happening here but can't you hypothetically go over the cap and pay for it down the road doing this with a couple of guys? Im probably overlooking something, I feel dumb asking this question lol.
