I love the play where he like juggles the puck with his stick over the guys head, if he can finish on some of those moves he’ll be a highlight reel player

I don’t doubt Soda could play with the team a full season, but I’d be okay seeing him continue to grow in Grand Rapids and it’s probably the better decision. In 21 games with Detroit he went 5-3-8 and in 20 games with the Griffins he went….5-3-8.
So he’s effectively had half a season on NA ice and half a season injured. I’d love to see him be more like Berggren, look phenomenal in the AHL and then come up and look great.

IF he is developed well he will be a big part of the team making runs for a cup. Just need patience and not rush him so he can grow into that body and his role. Of course, if he looks ready then no reason to hold him back and they would know more than us if he would be better served in the NHL or AHL. Excited to see what he becomes.
