The 2 year term makes sense for both parties. Aiden gets to prove that this wasn’t a one time performance and management gets to give him a payday without mortgaging the future.

If they do actually sign him I really hope its not for too much because we really need a shot at trying to keep Barbie. He may have had an incredible run with a defensive system that really helps the goalies, but are we forgetting how much he shit the bed before this AMAZING run he had that lead the team to the cup?
I mean this post season was AMAZING for goalie hot runs. I mean look at Bob. Luckily Cassidy’s system is very friendly to goalies AND he had some fantastic saves that really were clutch I’m not trying to downplay that diving stick save by any stretch of the imagination. Just trying to be realistic based on history.
