  1. 48 ml/kg is awful for an athlete, it's barely above the average of a normal healthy person. Also, I dont watch hockey but am a pretty decent track runner so I'm curious why this test is even in a combine for hockey? Vo2max tests are pretty useless even for athletes who are in pure endurance sports and the numbers really dont tell you much. A guy with a 70 could absolutely smash a guy with a 90 in a race or vice versa, it's only one very small variable that goes into speed and endurance. The tests are as good as useless.

  2. more effective if they strapped him in cycling pedals and cyclists shoes, either way I an sure his MaxV02 is impressive!

  3. It's Connie being Connie! Can't wait to see him in a Haaaaawks Uniform!

  4. That is some big CPAP machine!
I hope he cures his sleep Apnea soon.

  5. The kid has put on some serious muscle in the last year. I’m not as worried as I was about him getting caught with his head down anymore. Beast. Can’t wait for next season.

  6. Hopefully the hawks add a top line center and some tough guys to the roster- gotta protect the young guys coming up. For too long teams could take liberties on the skill players and not even get a challenge
