[DiMarco] Sounds like a part of the deal between Flyers and Blues may have fallen apart due to someone not waiving their no trade clause

100% Krug lol. I donā€™t blame him either. I wouldnā€™t want to leave a team that could easily be back in the mix next year for a Flyers team that is bottoming out next season and likely going to suck for most of my contract. Please though Danny pull the 10OA out of your ass in this trade. šŸ™

I started worrying when I saw the bit about the NTCs. What player is gonna wanna come here on the first year of a rebuild

Belief is that the STL/PHI wil eventually get done.

Deal is agreed upon but the sole holdup is the NTC from a Blues’ player.

Well, itā€™s called a NTC for a reason and thereā€™s a reason good players gets them when they sign long-term contracts. If thatā€™s the hold-up then it was certainly a predictable one. I donā€™t think anyone of the Blues defensemen willingly moves from a team with playoff aspirations to a team entering a rebuild. I guess we just have to wait and see.

Itā€™s Krug. But hey this is why these guys get NTCs. Canā€™t blame him for exercising it.

Though Iā€™m also seeing theyā€™re reworking it. Maybe send us Faulk instead

If Krug is the hang up I wonder if they could get a 3rd team involved. We’d have to retain, and idk if it’s smart to use two of your three retentions on one trade though.

He’s literally repeating everything Strickland and San filippo are stating…..
