taking michkov at 6 would be an actual steal. i would be surprised if both the sharks and habs pass on him. a pleasant surprise but a surprise regardless
17:16 the nhl is such an odd league. purists would love it if the league were only based in canada or the northern states, but ya don't make money by doing that, especially since the canadian dollar is generally only worth three-quarters of the american dollar. grow the game, grow the profit.
do you think it's possible that the league expands again? the nfl has got the perfect balance: two conferences with four divisions of four teams each; the nhl's current structure of four eight-team divisions would be unbalanced unless you awarded salt lake and houston in the western conference, atlanta and <gulp> quebec in the east… insinuating that the coyotes stay put! 😉
The Coyotes are a failed experiment.

And this plan is gonna fail as usual, but the league will give them 5-10 more years to figure it out 🤣
