  1. I have played hockey since the age of 3 and the minute you get into peewees they teach you to skate with your head up so things like this don't happen. I tired of people trying to take all of the hitting out of hockey. Clean Hit. No doubts about it.

  2. @Cboyrocka6188 Awoke a sleeping giant? I think each team scored one goal after the hit.

  3. @aScentlessApprentice Why should he fight anyone? It was a clean hit, lead with his shoulder, stayed on his skates. It's not Kronwalls fault that Voracek had his head all the way down there. Not saying he deserved it cause I do hope he's OK but it pisses me off because after almost every huge Kronwall hit, he's expected to fight.

  4. I can see why Kronwall WAS NOT suspended…Voracek was hardly defenseless in that situation. Don't they teach you in peewee or bantam to keep your head up?

  5. @As3sinoL0C0 I agree it was clean, but teammates don't want to see their players spazzing out on the ice after a huge hit like this. That's where fighting comes in, to show the other team there are repercussions for knocking out a skill player. Generally the player that injured the other guy will answer to the challenge. On a side note I like Kronwall and think he is a clean player, it's just that when a player on your team gets hurt like this, you wanna see the other guy accept the challenge

  6. @BanditsAirsoft take it your a Philadelphia fan? you guys proved that you didn't know what a clean hockey hit was the other night. and just for you to know you don't boo at a player that hasn't done anything wrong you boo at a player who made a cheap shot towards another player. You Philadelphia fans need to learn more about the good sport of hockey before you all act like a bunch of pussies over a clean hit.

  7. @Bestjamesbond Like the guy said, your not one to talk if your a wings fan considering they're one of the softest teams in the league, this was a great clean hit but dont even get started on that crap when detroit is full of soft players.

  8. @BanditsAirsoft you are probably the most intelligent person who has replied to me about this, nobody has been able to give a good counter argument towards me and yours is the first decent one I have read lol 😉

  9. Voracek said in an interview two days later it was a good, clean hit, his fault for not being more aware in the moment, and does not wish for this kind of play to ever leave the game we have all grown to love.

  10. You have to love Ken Daniels and Mickey Redmonds blunt honesty about the situation. Most honest and fair TV guys in the NHL IMO. They will tell you if it was a really penalty, a dive, or if someone got away with something regardless of the team/player.

  11. Perfectly CLEAN Hit!!! Voracek had his head down. IF Voracek didn't have his head down there probably wouldn't have been any contact to the head. IF Voracek had his head UP this hit probably would've never happened!!

  12. it wasn't a dirty hit, but voracek seizured there, u see his hands fly up…that was scary
