But what I don’t understand is if we’re gonna and willing to trade for him why wouldn’t we just pull the trigger. The hold up has to be from the Ottawa side. If they themselves don’t believe they’ll get a first rounder then you’d think we’d immediately be making a offer that would be approved by them. Maybe zadina and two second rounders? That still leaves us two first and a second. Not to mention we haven’t exactly struck gold in the second round in our history. I’d give two seconds in a heartbeat for a potential 40 goal scorer who is only 25 and always healthy.
