The Flyers are sending forward Kevin Hayes to the St. Louis Blues for a 2024 6th Round Draft Pick, with the Flyers agreeing to a 50% salary retention for the remaining 3 years of the contract. This will be a $3,571,429 cap hit for the Flyers through the 2025-26 season.

I don't think this is over…I have a feeling that there are more shoes to drop. But that could be whishful thinking
Rachel, it looks like this is going to be a long process. I remember how hard the Flyers worked at getting Kevin to sign just a few years ago. Good point about the Trade Deadline. The Flyers have had this in their brain since the beginning of the year. So the Flyers realized that this was maybe the best they could receive, everything considered.
