    moved a player who had no place here (unfortunately because we love him) and a pick we got to let Columbus add an eight year to Sevo’s contract for a 73 point winger who’s won a Cup and has years of playoff experience.

    That’s exactly the type of player we need to compliment our studs and we lost nothing of consequence.

    Immediate thoughts:

    – incredible value for Sharangovich, a player everyone knew was the odd man out.

    – love Toffoli’s fit in the middle 6 & playoff pedigree is invaluable

    – 4.25M cap hit means that Tatar is good as gone

    Going to Miss Sharangovich big time but god damn this was a hell of a move by Fitz. I like that Toffoli only has only year left, helps with the current cup run now while doesn’t require a huge future financial commitment. Absolutely open minded to Fitz extending Toffoli later on but for right now this is an absolutely perfect move by Fitz

    The third is what we got for trading sevos rights, so we basically upgrade a middle 6 defensive forward into a top line scoring wing
