Looks like the Flames wanted a good pick and a replacement level player for a guy who was going to sign for them anyways and the Devils just have more draft capital. Not sure who we have signed that’s equal to Sharangovich + a better pick that isn’t a guy we don’t want to part with. Drury maybe, but that’s risky for the Flames since he’s a more unknown quantity.
