I would hope so. They really only had 2 years where they were real Stanley cup contenders.

Heinola is going to be another Morrissey for the Jets. He was noticeably undersized the few games we watched but he was everywhere. Such a smart player.
Veselinen is a bust
Most of the Jets prospects suck which is why the Moose suck. If our prospects were good then the Moose would be a good team. Most of them have been in the system for 5+ years and havent done a thing.
Also, Veseliainen struggled? He had 30 points in 60 games with the Moose. That's better than Perrault, Lowry, Roslovic, Harkins and Copp all did on the Jets. So if those guys are good enough then Ves should be too.
Problem is, the Jets are horribly managed by a GM who wouldnt know talent if it walked up and bit him. And coached by one of the worst coaches in the league. Their offense needs work, their D is a joke and they need a better backup goalie.
But I guess it's no surprise that the guy covering the Jets is as dumb as the people running the team.
Jets defence is big trouble, so Ville may actually make the team. It's a bit of a risk to put a 19YO out there in high pressure , hopefully his confidence doesn't get crushed
