Wasnt Michkov consensus 2nd overall before all the political issues began? Cant believe we’d not take a swing on him still
If this is smoke, good on DiMarco.
If Michkov is off the board at 7 and we take Leonard, I’m OK with that outcome, although I will be disappointed.
If Michkov and Leonard are on the board at 7 and they pass on Michkov for him, it’d be the biggest draft mistake this organization has made since Jay O’Brien. It would show that they still prioritize guys who “play like Flyers” over skill, and would be a gigantic red flag very early on in this new FO regime

Leonard at 7 feels like typical Flyers settling and wouldn’t give me much faith in the future. Part of seeing the Flyers go after Michkov is just the feeling that they are going all out on this rebuild full force with it all on the line
To be clear – Charlie O’Connor made it sound like the Flyers’ top guy is Michkov, and that’ll only change if the interview doesn’t go well. That could be an issue, who knows.
If that is true, this organization is STILL a fucking disgrace.
If Michkov doesn’t fall I’d be happy with Leonard. But God does having the possibility of that Ruskie falling to 7 get me giddy
