  1. She can do it! Bol is also looking strong this year. Will be a great racing season this year.

  2. Paulino showed Levrone trying to win the 400m is not going to be easy. Levrone has yet to show up against Bol as well.

  3. Not sure who will be in the race to help push her, but I would imagine she's going after a mid 48 to be ready for World's.

  4. She'll be 49.39. By world's she'll be 48.88. Next year she'll be 48.1 in Paris. Nobody's ever made that quick a drop. It takes time. The 400m flat race has much more history of being contested than the 400m hurdles for women.

  5. I don't say it will be tomorrow, but after a few races 48.48 is something Sydney can reach . . .anyway she is a Real Champion !!
Maybe one day the World record will be in danger ))

  6. She will run 49.00 to 49.25.
then by trials she should run between 48.50 to 49. 00.

The Next year in Paris she should run 48.00 to 48.50 and then after Paris a real shot at the world record.

  7. You can call it pessimistic all you want but to think that the record will be broken is crazy..if it happens you can respond telling me how wrong I was. I’ve got no problem with it because I hope she breaks it..but the 100 200 and 400 were set in the 80’s by women taking ped’s and almost 40 years later no one has come close. Enjoy the success but the world record I feel is just a dream

  8. She will break 49sec this time around.!
Track fitness and exercise fitness is not the same thing.!
Her coach told her to go as hard as she can in the previous 400m race to test where her stamina level lies with the first race of her season.
It will be a diff matter this time around.!
There will be much improvement on the last run i suspect.!
The world record is something else though.!
Going to take a lot of hard work and dedication if she is going to get that almost impossible time.!

  9. I don't believe we will see her run that fast for now. Maybe in future years it can happen. 48.6 will be my guess if she is at peak fitness and condition is good.

  10. her 49.6 had 22.6 open 200 then 27sec– if she runs a sane 23.6 then she needs a 26 for the same 496-a 25.5 seems reasonable for 49.1- nothing wrong with that

  11. I'm not sure yet… she will win of that woman who beat her during Syds 1st race isn't there… if she is, I'll give Syd 50/50 for that race… remember this is her 2nd race and I'm only saying this for that race… her 2nd & maybe her 3rd if the same woman is there again…
BUT BY HER 4TH RACE IM GONNA GIVE THAT AND ALL THE REST TO SYDNEY….

  12. You don’t jump over barriers, you hurdle them. If you’re going to be a reporter, or an analyst, you should do your homework, and quit letting words just flow from your mouth.
