    Hughes/Bratt/Hischier/Meier signed through 26-27 for a combined average of just under 8M/year.

    Edit: Just for comparison those 4 come in at a combined cap hit of 31.9M. The Leafs’ 3 of Matthews/Marner/Tavares come in at a combined cap hit of 33.5M and that’ll probably go up. Incredible value from Fitz.

    Wow. We have some very good players locked up for a very long time. With the cap going up, it seems Fitzgerald has set us up to be an absolute juggernaut for at least the next 4 or 5 years. What a time to be a Devils fan!

    An extra 300k over expected $8.5mil is chump change considering the dead cap we will be shedding soon. Fitz is a god, I have a feeling he isn’t done yet (maybe a goalie?)

    Good deal. Sure it would’ve been nice to keep it under 8.5, but 300k or so isn’t anything to worry about. Fitz is on fire
