If the first four picks go as expected, and Montreal doesn’t want Michov at #5, I hope they trade down a bit. There are plenty of good players in the top 8-10 spots, and there are teams who are keen to have Michov, so, you know, take advantage.
Edit: For the record, I hope that the Canadiens take Michov if he’s available. I think it’s worth the risk to pick him. However, I definitely understand why a team might not want to do that.

I’m torn. I have no doubts in Michkov on a talent level, but there is at least a possibility that he may never leave Russia/the new USSR. Is it a guarantee? No. But the fact that it’s in the realm of possibility makes me wonder if it’s too big of a gamble when you have the 5th overall pick.
