Exactly, how did you determine Dunn is on the block? Being benched because of his play does not equal being on the block. But, heh, why bother being accurate when you can get free clicks with a headline, eh?
Dunn would be an awesome pickup for a lot of teams. Young defenceman but experienced, Stanley Cup winner, puts puck in the net, and still has upside if outside a Berube led team. And can obviously be used on the powerplay.

No, Dunn is a healthy scratch because he's a turnover machine and defends like a luxury forward.
If Dunn is traded it won’t be because he was a healthy scratch. (He was defensively wretched in the last game against LA. If Berube hadn’t scratched him, he would have looked inept.) If Dunn is traded it will be because of salary cap constraints when Tarasenko comes back and because the Blues are relatively deep on defense.
Early in their Stanley Cup year Perron was a healthy scratch for taking too many stupid penalties. He’s still with the team and has been a major contributor since that incident.
