Today was the worst I ever heard from Kyper. His analysis of the Kampf signing was dreadful, and his overall tone was nauseating.
How do we know O'Rielly wants to come back or he gave us a number that we cannot afford, so Treiliving had to change his strategy and moved towards signing Kampf? I think this is a good signing. Kampf can win faceoffs; he can kill penalties, and he can chip in a few goals and assists as needed. Holl and Kerfoot probably aren't coming back. The Leafs have not done a good job of giving their prospects a chance to come up and play. Look at the ones we let walk – Mason Marchmant, Trevor Moore, Joey Anderson, etc.
I watched your show yesterday, and buddy was saying no more than $1.6M for Kampf, and today he has zero recollection and thinks the Kampf signing at $2.4M is a great deal. Listen to what comes out of your own mouth dude. Kyper was, like are you sure you didn't say that?! Hahah!

im sorry… but meier is by far the better player over nylander. his contract should keep nylanders number down if anything. no way he gets over 9…. 8 – 8.5 max for 4-5 years or trade him!!!!!!
the lack of signings in toronto just tells you how screwed they are with the cap. everything is a domino effect.

Tavaras has a no move, you can ask all you want he is going to stay. Dump, Murray, Nylander and use Muzzin money and get Karlsson, Leaf's got to face up they are missing the Ace DMAN. He will be 36 at the end of his Contract, the Cup would be in range and he is the kind of player that is not going to wear out unless there is another horrific accident.

Canadian teams account for more than 30% of NHL revenue. Calculate what the salary cap is for all 32 teams combined.
30% plus goes to the 7 Canadian teams to split up and the rest goes to the American teams to split up. Also the Canadian players drafted only need to be signed after the same number of years as everybody else.
I'll bet anyone here that Chicago win the Cup before the Leafs make the third round.
